Christmas with the Harvest Wreath

Hi Everyone,

Just popping in to share my project featuring the Harvest Wreath Rubber Stamp

I thought I would try water coloring the stamp and used my Derwent Inktense pencils. I love how vibrant they are but I definitely need practise!

I thought it would be fun to create a funky background so I used a Tim Holtz splatters stencil and inked it with distress inks layering up all the colours as I moved the stencil around and then I used a mini mister to wet it to help the colours mix and soften a little.

To tie it all together, I fussy cut around the image so I could pop it up, and then finished with a sentiment and a few little embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to add the  Harvest Wreath Rubber Stamp to your wishlist for this year's Christmas cards!

It is hard to find a sweet Santa that doesn't look dopey but I think we nailed it!  This sweet Santa is making his list and seriously doesn't have time to do it twice so make sure you get on the correct list the first time around ;)

Winter Lake

This image was super easy and fun to color up.  The perfect Christmas card I think because we can mass produce them.  I kept the layering simple for just that reason.  Thinking outside the box i brought in color combinations of blue, green, purple and a tad bit of peach.  Fun huh?!  This stamp is now available at CC Designs as well as your local stores.

Special Memories

This beautiful card was created by Marie Gamber.  I love how she used teals to make these shoes shine.  This stamp can be used for so many occasions but I love the way she left the shoes as the focal point and added aa little bling.  She totally nailed the shine too!!

BG20, BG72,  BG75 and BG 79
I added some cross hatching with a grey Faber Castelle Colored Pencil.
I added some gold sequins for embellishment.

You can see this and many more pieces of her beautiful work HERE

Moose Head

Hi all :)

I'm here today with a very clean and simple card featuring 'Moose Head'. I love how this turned out and how quick and easy it was to create.

Coloured with Copic Markers
Moose - E41, 42, 43, 44, 47, 49.
Background - BG02, Colourless Blender.

After colouring the Moose and background I simply stamped the sentiment with brown ink and cut the image out with a rectangle stitched die then foam mounted it onto a slightly bigger rectangle stitched die then placed it onto a folded card the same size as the bigger die.

Thanks for stopping by
